Welcome to September!

I can’t believe it is already the 1st of September. This summer went by way too fast. I have a couple of exciting things going on and I wanted to share them with you.

I want to use YOU as my accountability everyday! There is only 2 months left until the NYC Marathon so it really is CRUNCH TIME!! My training and nutrition have to be spot on now until race day. My plan is to post about my training and what I am eating every single day. I need your accountability! I will also be participating in our Americans Kicking Cancer challenge! I am challenging myself to run 100 miles in the month of September! I am really looking forward to this challenge and the fact that all proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society.

Lastly, I ask that you would please be in prayer for me to take on this training and challenge. I am committing my plans to The Lord and I know that I will succeed! I found this verse in Nehemiah the other day and I decided this is the verse I am standing on! “I am carrying on a great project and can not go down.” Nehemiah 6:3

Do something GREATER with your life!

“Anyone who believes in me will do the same works that I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father.” John 14:12

We all have areas of our lives where we have settled. Areas where we’ve decided that “good enough” is good enough. But God hasn’t called us as believers in Jesus to merely survive the world, plodding along in our daily routine, waiting for the day we die. No, there’s more to our existence than that. – Steven Furtick

Do something GREATER with your life! I encourage you to step out. Leave behind a life of “good enough” and embrace a life
that is greater!
